ASECNet is an entrepreneurial company that owns the proprietary banking and payment technologies called Frontier-RB2000- and a switch software called ACS, (ATM-POS and Applications Concentrator Switch). The foregoing technologies are currently installed in 134 rural banking locations in the Philippines. It is initially replicated with the 1,200 credit cooperative members of the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives to support the issuance of ATM cards and installation of ATM terminals.
On a medium-to-long term basis, Frontier and AC/S will be installed in other Asian Credit Cooperatives and countryside financial institutions.
